Part 17 - Binding - continued
With the channels routed I can now glue the bindings and purfling into position. They are held tightly in place by masking tape until the glue is dry. I’ve made a protective cover from thick card for the top, to prevent grain tear-out when the masking tape is removed.
Finally, I’ll trim the bindings flush with finger plane, scraper and sandpaper.
