The bridge is now ready for gluing to the top.  First, I  need to make a gluing caul from some scrap plywood which will reinforce the underside of the top during the gluing operation. Next I mould a couple of cauls out of ‘friendly plastic’ for the pyramid shapes on the bridge wings.  Friendly plastic softens in hot water and then hardens as it cools.
Gluing the bridge. Some good views of the cauls I made helping to get a good tight glue bond. Notice, bottom left, the compound curve in the top. The last pic shows the bridge after gluing.
